The Mühlhausen Regional Court announced in a press release dated February 12, 2021, that the trial is now scheduled to begin on September 7, 2021, and will continue through October 2021 (September 7, 9, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, October 4, 5, 11, 12, and 18, 2021, starting at 10:00 a.m. each day in courtroom IX, Puschkinhaus (Puschkinstr. 3 in Mühlhausen). We were informed by telephone last week that the trial was expected to begin at the end of June/beginning of July. We have not yet received any explanation for this further delay, nor have we received written notification of the rescheduled date. Why is the trial now starting two months later? This is incomprehensible to us – especially considering the potential jeopardizing of the process by a possible third wave of the coronavirus. We have now requested access to the files again to learn the reasons for the further delay.
