What was conceived in a small circle near Potsdam in November is more than just a chilling vision. It is an attack on the constitution and the liberal rule of law. The mass deportation of people from Germany must never again become a reality. The legal legitimization of such fantasies must be prevented by all legal and political means. This meeting must not, in retrospect, turn out to be a "second Wannsee Conference."
The undersigned legal organizations resolutely oppose the outlined concept and the underlying view of humanity and the world, which would cause irreparable and lasting damage not only to countless lawyers working in Germany, but to all of us.
