Virtual exhibitions

The top images of the individual subcategories on www.anwaltskanzlei-adam.de change at irregular intervals.

The resulting virtual exhibitions are the product of the creativity of various artists.

With this form of presentation, we aim to offer a forum for young and critical artists to showcase their work. However, we do not see this as a limitation and are therefore open to art that does not fit into this "framework." The themes of the various exhibitions are thus just as open as the form of art presented. So far, photographs and paintings on canvas have been featured in the virtual exhibition, as well as sculptures and other three-dimensional works.

ID Without Colors – photographs by Riccardo Valsecchi

This virtual exhibition was originally held in connection with proceedings before the Higher Administrative Court of Rhineland-Palatinate. The Higher Administrative Court had granted leave to appeal a judgment of the Administrative Court of Koblenz dated February 28, 2012. In the challenged judgment, the Administrative Court of Koblenz held that suspicionless racial profiling based solely on skin color by officers of the Federal Police was permitted and covered by the Federal Police Act. This judgment of the Administrative Court of Koblenz was ultimately declared moot after a widely noted oral hearing before the Higher Administrative Court of Rhineland-Palatinate on February 29, 2012 , because racial profiling violates the fundamental right to equal treatment under Article 3 of the Basic Law.

In a further landmark decision of April 21, 2016, the Higher Administrative Court of Rhineland-Palatinate confirmed the legal opinion it had already expressed in 2012. This decision is, however, legally binding, as the defendant Federal Police did not appeal to the Federal Administrative Court, even though the Higher Administrative Court of Rhineland-Palatinate had expressly granted leave to appeal due to the particular importance of the proceedings.

In light of this positive development, Riccardo Valsecchi's exhibition should therefore be given a prominent place within our "virtual exhibitions".

Photographer Riccardo Valsecchi wants to use the exhibition to send a message against racism and exclusion.
